Best in Parking becomes the new operator of Schönbrunn Parking

Vienna, Austria – As of 1 July 2026, Best in Parking has taken over the operation of Schönbrunn Parking, further expanding its network in Vienna with another key mobility location.

The official visitor parking facility at Schönbrunn comprises 230 car parking spaces and 48 coach parking spaces and is located in the immediate vicinity of one of Austria's most visited attractions. The site offers convenient and modern parking for individual visitors and tour groups within walking distance of Schönbrunn Palace, Schönbrunn Zoo and other attractions in the area.

“Well-organised parking facilities are an important service for all visitors travelling by car or coach. We look forward to a successful collaboration with Best in Parking, the new operator of Schönbrunn Parking,” said Klaus Panholzer, CEO/Managing Director of the Schönbrunn Group.

As part of the takeover, the site's technical infrastructure will undergo a comprehensive modernisation. By upgrading the technical equipment, the quality and efficiency of the parking experience will be significantly enhanced. At the same time, attractive parking rates for users of the Bmove app will be introduced. In addition to implementing a modern parking management system, further measures are already planned to further enhance the quality of the site. These include the planting of 36 additional trees and the installation of an irrigation system to sustainably support the existing green areas with around 300 trees and further improve the overall visitor experience.
