Wipark and Best in Parking join forces at Karlsplatz

Vienna, Austria – On 1 July 2026, Best in Parking and Wipark jointly took over the operation of the Karlsplatz Garage, expanding its portfolio with one of the larger parking facilities in the heart of Vienna.

The Karlsplatz Garage offers 656 parking spaces and is ideally located close to Vienna's city centre, within walking distance of landmarks such as St. Charles's Church (Karlskirche), the Vienna Museum and the Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien).

The partnership is based on a clear division of responsibilities: Wipark is responsible for the commercial management of the facility, while Best in Parking oversees its day-to-day operations. The technical integration of the site into the WIPcard and Bmove digital parking solutions will be carried out gradually. As part of a planned modernisation programme, the garage will be comprehensively upgraded over the coming years to further improve its infrastructure and meet the evolving demands of modern urban mobility.
