Best in Parking publishes Greenhouse Gas Report 2025

Date
02.07.2026

Best in Parking has published its externally audited Greenhouse Gas Report 2025, providing transparent insights into the development of greenhouse gas emissions across the entire Group. Although the Group is currently not legally required to report under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the report has been prepared voluntarily in line with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). For the third consecutive year, Best in Parking has published a greenhouse gas report prepared in accordance with ESRS E1 and externally audited by EY. The report covers both direct greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1) and indirect emissions from purchased energy (Scope 2).

The greenhouse gas balance forms the basis of the Group's Net Zero Strategy 2040, which is aligned with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The objective is to reduce market-based Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by more than 90% by 2040 compared with the 2023 base year. To achieve this, the Group is implementing targeted measures, including the expansion of renewable energy, the electrification of its vehicle fleet, and the continuous improvement of energy efficiency.

The latest greenhouse gas balance already demonstrates significant progress. Compared with the 2023 base year, market-based Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reduced by approximately 70%, to 1,232 tCO₂eq. This means that Best in Parking is already performing well below the emissions level projected by the linear SBTi reduction pathway for 2030.
