Vienna, Austria – Under the motto “What Connects Us – Infrastructures of Everyday Life,” the Architecture Days 2026 took place on 29 and 30 May 2026. As Austria’s largest public event for architecture, building culture, and engineering, the biennial festival focused on the visible and invisible infrastructures that make everyday life in the city possible.

Best in Parking had the pleasure of contributing to two program items and providing insights into the role of modern mobility infrastructure in urban spaces.

On Friday, one program item led participants to Best in Parking’s Prater Garage. As part of the guided tour around the "Praterstadion", questions relating to the mobility transition and the importance of transport infrastructure in an urban context were discussed. The garage provided insights into the often-hidden world of urban parking and mobility spaces and demonstrated how technical infrastructure, architectural quality and sustainable transformation can be combined. The event concluded with a joint gathering on the roof of the Prater Garage, overlooking the Wurstelprater and the photovoltaic system installed there.

On Saturday, the guided tour “Spittelau Junction” focused on Spittelau as an interface between transport, energy supply and urban space. Part of the excursion was also Best in Parking’s Park & Ride facility in Spittelau, which, as an important mobility hub, illustrates the interaction between individual transport and public transport.

Architecture Days 2026 impressively demonstrated how closely mobility, energy supply and urban development are interconnected. We are pleased to have been part of this dialogue and to have provided participants with insights into the diverse requirements and potential of modern mobility infrastructure.
